Thanks. It looks like it is now in there. But, still does not show in the pulldown menu in LR.
For Mac and LR5:
You have to put it there:
/ Users / [your username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / LensProfiles / 1.0 /

Open your home folder (/Users/yourusername) in the Finder. Depending on your Finder settings, this may be as easy as simply opening a new Finder window. Otherwise, choose Home from the Finder’s Go menu (Go > Home); or press Shift-Command-H. Still in the Finder, choose View > Show View Options (or press Command-J). Near the bottom of the resulting View-Options palette is a setting called Show Library Folder. Enable this option. Your Library folder is immediately visible. 6D | 16-35mm f/4L | 24-105mm f/4L | 70-300mm f/4-5.6L | 430EX II

Puckman Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 19, 2014 11:38 | #156 I have the same problem. It installs in the camera rAw lens profile folder and shows up fine in camera raw. But not in LR. LR must pull it's profiles from a different folder. Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

I'm a PC guy so I can't see if there is a Lens Profile folder in Lightroom on a Mac. I'm stumped... Ugh. The pulldown menu in LR is showing a bunch of camera and lens profiles I don't even have in my CameraRaw folder so I'm wondering where it is pulling them from... Frustrating to say the least. Randy

Puckman Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 19, 2014 17:50 | #165 I got it to work by copying the file in question into the User/Library/..../Lightroom/LensProfiles/1.0/ folder. By itself in there. I think LR gets the rest of its profiles from the .dat file.
