Unknown hoverfly, I managed to get it onto my finger for a clear, uncluttered shot but no idea which species it is. It has what appears to be two prongs sticking out of its back, never seen anything like that on a hoverfly before.

Thanks for the comments all and thanks for the ID Brian, a soldier fly it is. Here's a crop from a shot that I missed focus on but it clearly shows those two prongs sticking out of its back, I wonder what they are there for?
