Once I got the 35Art, my 6D stopped being an interchangeable lens camera.

I had the 24-105, nifty fifty, and 70-200 f/4 prior to that. I still use the 70-200 sometimes, but rarely.

Why do you think is that?

AF speed?
Being a 35mm?

or the build quality?

good question:

the main reason is that i just love the images it produces, something about them i cant put my finger on

but also loving the 35mm view, feels natural and yes the speed of the lens, it just works every time..

Since every lens will eventually be suggested I will add in the 28mm f1.8 or the 24L II for a wider fast lens on crop. I had the 50 1.4 and found in too narrow on crop for my liking, but I don't like the 85mm lens myself for my style. I rarely take 'formal' portraits and find 100mm to suit that need fine.

Im a huge L lens snob, but will recommend a sigma 35/1.4 art without hesitation. Judging from your gear list in your sig, the 35mm will fit in nicely with the rest of your lineup (except for the 18-200, sell that asap!)
