Also, does AT&T park allow a 70-200 into the stadium? I know some places can be a pain sometimes.

I know I'm day late to the conversation, but I go to AT&T Park all the time. I take the 70-200 and the 100-400. Like tagnal said you just can't block any ones view. If your sitting in the seats just watch your lens on hitting people in the back of the head. I know this is redundant information, but I hope it reassures you.

Speaking of bringing huge telephotos to stadiums, I once brought a nikon 200-400 to a 49er preseason game and no one really cared. I got away with a 70-200 with an extender before (both candlestick and att park during normal season) but I'm not sure if that would fly in the new Levi stadium.

Had a relaxing day in Sausalito after that cluster of a Ramen Festival.

Looking for a beach location in the bay area (santa cruz up to marin) that would be conducive to a sunset swimsuit session. By conducive, I mean generally nice weather (not mostly foggy) and provides exclusive (or at least semi-exclusive) locations that provide an interesting backdrop or setting (e.g., some secluded carved out cliff areas, not just a shoreline with the sun in the background).

Any input would be greatly appreciated, fellow POTN'ers.

I'm not familiar with any in the area you're looking but if you're willing to head a bit further south there are lots of beaches along US 1 between Carmel and San Louis Obispo.

That looks like an excellent setting, Erik. I wouldn't mind getting the coordinates for that location, but for now I'm just looking to stay closer to home in the East Bay for this go-around.

That shot is from Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur. There are lots of similar spots up and down highway 1.

Another shot from just up the beach a ways:

Good luck with your shoot!

Perhaps you might like Panther Beach in Santa Cruz. Also known as Hole in the Wall beach.
You should be able to Google the directions. I understand it's out of the way, and a little but of a walk to get there. Also, I heard that the rangers will harass you if you have so much as a light stand. They will accuse you of being a pro, and shooting without a permit.
So be forewarned.

Well, that sounds like a no-go, then.

Not that I'd feel like I was in the wrong or that I'd feel like I was breaking any laws, but that's just something I'd prefer to avoid in general.

Still ISO some good spots, if anyone has any to share.
