What kind of image (corner) degradation can I expect with a full shift? I tried using the 24 this weekend but just didn't really connect with it, if that makes sense. I think I'm loosing some contrast on the edges so I'll flock my adapter today and see if that improves things. But unfortunately this lens is a no-go for night photography, too much coma to be useful. That was disappointing to say the least.

On my 5D2 I would get vignetting at extreme shifts, I can't remember if it was noticeably softer though. I didn't use it on my A7R though to be able to comment on that

Really?! I find this odd, as my copy has absurdly little (nearly non-existent).

On my 5DII if I want to have a great quality from center to the extreme shifted parts, I close the aperture to f/9.

No chromatic aberrations normally with this great lens...

I didnt get any chromatic aberattions eaither, just vignetting at the edges of the shifted frames.

Thank you all :)

The first is a lupine field in the north east of Höfn, Iceland. Second one is Vesturhorn near Höfn, Iceland.
The last is Lag la Cauma in the Grisons, Switzerland.

___

This shot is the church of Vík in Iceland. Tilt about 3°. Shift -12mm, 0mm, +12mm plus multiple shots for blending to reduce rain drops and the movement of the lupines.
