Yeah lots of people trying to sell 7D at present and hoping to get sell it before the second hand prices drop even more when the MII comes out. Of course sometimes 2nd hand prices don't drop - depends at what price point the MII comes in at (or whatever Canon releases to replace the 7D). 7D was a very popular camera and until the 5DMIII and 6D came out it had the best AF in Canon barring their 1D line options. The long production run might actually mean that what Canon comes out with in a MII is tempting to upgrade from - much like the 5DMIII was a big reason to upgrade over the MII (at least in so far as AF was concerned). I'm looking for anyones 7D to upgrade from my T2i. Looks like I picked the right time for this upgrade. Although the 60D isn't a bad option either from what I have. Anyone have guesses as to what is in the 7D MII ? Sony A7iii - Samyang 75mm 1.4

Every body has a guess of what is in the fabled 7DII, but nobody except Canon knows for sure. If you do a lot of outdoor wildlife or sports the price of the 7D right now is something to jump on. I went from T2i to 7D and then 6D. I still use the 7D and 6D in tandem. The 7D is not the best in low light so the 6D takes over in that arena. FUJI XT-2 & FUJI XT-3 ->

Assuming that the 7D replacement is a meaningful upgrade, I was planning to sell my 7D, but I think that I might just hang on to it at these prices. I like the idea of putting Magic Lantern on 7D, although it is taking ML forever to come up with a stable version for it. It might not happen.
