Well done Ian. Sounds like you need more batteries and CF cards.:D

Ha, thanks John. No, my shoots are all pretty well controlled that way. Less than an hour, less than 250 shots.

More beauties Ian! Your not complaining about too many Hummers are you? :)

Thanks Craig. No, just happy they finally showed up. It took them a while this year.

Alright, Ian. You have proved that you can do hummingbirds in red, yellow, and orange. I want to see them in purple and blue now :-)
Great set!

Ha, well, not sure on that Linh, there's not much purple or blue in the gardens here right now. Thanks for the kind remarks.

As I continue to struggle to get decent shots, you even include an ant in yours! What a great set Ian. Do keep amazing all of us less fortunates!

Haha Sandy, thanks. I'm more waiting for the eagle activity level to pick up again, we're in a bit of a lull now for some reason.

Beautiful series, Ian. Makes me miss my hummingbirds so much. Just haven't seen them much this year. Well done.

Thanks very much. They started slow here, but activity has sure picked up lately.

Excellent set Ian! Looks like need to get more flowers for our hummers. :)

Thanks Brad, I'm thinking the same here. Have to get weeding first to make room ;)

Wow! Gorgeous shots and color. I have a pretty nice patch of those flowers(always called them Tiger Lilies) at 1 end of my house. Never gave them much thought re hummers. Finished blooming several wks. ago but will try to remember for next year.

Again Ian, gotta love the yellow and orange flower combinations in these captures and especially pretty in the last as it transmits through the wing.
The perched images are precious and I chuckled at the curiosity of what looks to be a youngster in #2.
I'll have to admit that I'm sorry you've grown weary of these little balls of personality as your imagery of them has added some refreshing variety.

Maybe they are tiger lilies Rog, but what we call Tiger Lilies while orange like these, are much shorter. These are taller than me. thanks for commenting.
