The 3 osprey young appear not to have fledged in this nest yet. Judging from their size, that event should happen soon! Mom landed for a few moments, but Dad would only circle and scream. I was not too close, shooting at 1000 mm, but Mom wasn't impressed. You can see the telltale orange eyes in the youngsters vs Mom's yellow eyes.

Heh, heh, I was hoping Dad would make an entrance too, for a whole-family shot, but I've noticed the male usually keeps his distance in such situations.

Thanks Rog! I had a new can of Off with me and used it liberally. These mosquitoes were vicious! Even before you park the car, they're bashing into the windows trying to get at you, it's truly amazing.
