Since everyone here share a similar passion for taking photos of the woman they love, I think it might be interesting to share some thoughts on this.

I find it interesting the different motivations that I have when I take photos of the Mrs. Sometimes, it's the lighting or mood that makes me go run and grab the camera, and that's when I'm in "photography mode," trying to create "good photos." Sometimes, it's moments when she's being particularly playful, funny, or just incredibly dorky. That's when I'm in "Kodak Moment mode," trying to capture those special moments or personality of the woman I love. And then of course, there are times when she simply just looks really cute, elegant, or sexy, and I'm compelled to run and get the camera. That's the "Hot Damn! mode," where I'm trying to capture/preserve her beauty in some form.

The best case scenarios are when all three modes converge and that's when I just feel totally blessed, being able to combine my love for photography and my love for my wife into one creative and fulfilling endeavor. No other kinds of photography even comes close to me, because other subjects aren't so dear to my heart, and it's so fun to interact with her, since she's so expressive, cooperative, and fun as a model. I suppose if we had children they'd give her some competition, but we don't, so she's got all of my love and attention.
