This was one of the most beautiful waterfalls that I've seen lately. It was such a powerful waterfall, which the photo can't justify. We had it all to ourselves that evening.

Lovely scene, well captured. That's an area I've missed on my WA trips, need to check it out as it looks very interesting.

You slowed the shutter just the right amount for my preferences. I realize it's subjective but I prefer the way your photograph looks. It doesn't look washed out and it still conveys the power of the water itself.

I enjoyed looking at it.

Yep, Washington State! This is in the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.

Shutter speed for waterfalls can be very situational. I try to keep mine for the most part between 0.5 and 2 or 3 seconds. But if the flow is super fast, 1/4 seconds will work also, still allowing a milky look. It really depends on the lighting and flow speed.
