oh yeah forgot to mention at that last show it totally rained out and my M got soaked, I was so worried about it but I wasn't going to miss a chance to shoot one of my favorite bands.

After the show I pulled the battery and tossed it in a bag of rice. Still works 100%, but I would not recommend getting it wet.

Also this soccer mom thought the M was a film camera, as she touted her T1i as if it was superior Lol
The only image they shared of the show was one of mine! beat out the guy with a pair of 1DXs.

LOL.
This little one is like a grain of pepper. You don't understand how strong it can taste unless you chew it in your own mouth!
Again must say; EOS-M is one of the best Canon's ever made when size, price (Current) and capabilities are all weighted together.

These images are taken of a surprise, unannounced, firework show after a concert at Whiskey Point, on Beaver Island Michigan. I grabbed my EOS-M and just shot ... ISO was on Auto, Aperture preferred mode, using the 18-55mm kit zoom, at 18mm.
Red Burst at f/8, 1/30th, ISO 1600; other burst at f/8, 1/40th, ISO 1250.
Processed with DPP and PS CC.

^^ Right timing, right composition, good exposure.
Nice indeed.
I am sure if even one could plan, couldn't get better images.
This brings us back to: The camera with you is better than any other camera you have at home. Especially if it is EOS M. ;)

For some reason that lens is not sold by Canon in the US, but has been released into the rest of the markets. Canon Canada lists it in their lineup, and many Canadian retailers carry them. In fact there is a new 55-200 EF-M zoom that is now in the lineup.

Here is one example: http://www.henrys.com/search/ef-m.aspx (external link)

AFAIK, Henrys ships to the US as well, and they are an authorized Canon dealer.
