The mountain was "out" when we were there and I feel fortunate to have gotten some photos of it on a beautiful day.

Thank you Paul. I wasn't really thinking about the layers when I took the shot, but I like them as well.

I like it.

Bit less foreground for me, i.e. remove the green slope, then bit less sky for balance. Gives the mountain more impact?

Well done.

Seeing the mountain was the highlight of my trip to Alaska. Lovely shot.

Denali is breathtaking. We were fortunate to see her "out" as well.

Nice photo!

Fantastic shot. Only got to see her half way out when we were there at the end of May. The clouds just starting lifting as we were leaving the park. You had a great day!

Thanks everyone. Rarely do people see the mountain as clear as it was when we were there. Our guide said it would be a good day to buy a lottery ticket!

Very nice composition fishbio. You had good air clearance. Is Mt. McKinley covered with snow all year long?

Real nice shot and proves there really is a huge Mountain there. Spent a long day in the park last year, even lingered at Wonder Lake until near darkness and there was no sign of it the entire day. We fell into the "not out" group. The park is so beautiful though it was still a fantastic day. Enjoy photos from those that do get to see it and appreciate them.

So nice (both Denali and the shot)! Thanks for sharing.
You're really lucky. For 4 days in the park this time last year, I only saw the bottom 2-3%.

Nice shot. I have many 35mm photos of that mountain. Brings back nice memories from when I was stationed in Alaska.
