The corn dog candid was classic, Chad... Her expression is priceless... Hahhaa... And Charlie... Looks like I'll be visiting Redondo Beach in the near future... Haven't been back there in a while!!! Keep the images flowing, fellas...

Thanks, my fave yet to be processed. So sharp yours eyes will bleed :p

The sharpness from that 16-35 is killer, isn't it? Speaking of processing, I'd like to see the processing that went into the above shot. Maybe a link to the SOOC version and a quickie of what you did?
I get rather annoyed at my processing in LR and am curious what others are doing to this kind of nighttime landscape shot.

Been playing with speedlights for the past week. Still fighting with it, but I occasionally get a shot I'm happy with.

C&C welcome.

it's actually a pano wide angle stitch. The SOOC is pretty distorted. I could have done a better job fixing a little bit more distortion, but got lazy.

same with this image, heavily distored but fixed in post:

I wasn't sure if I wanted to take my 7D or the EOS M to the OC Fair. Now I'm leaning towards the EOS M. Doesn't seem I need the speed of the 7D.

It's time to get your chiles from Hatch, NM (locations around the southland bring them in and roast 'em) !

boooo!!! They are using the auto spinners. Those tear up the chiles and throw the seeds everywhere. We always hand turned em. it was harder work but the chiles came out in such better condition. My uncle owned a roasting business for years.
