Why do people think a "refurb" from Canon means the camera has problems previously? In an indirect way, by telling the seller this erronous perspective is offensive as you are telling the seller that they are trying to sell you something with problems. Educate yourself...and may even help yourself find great deals too.

Okay...I am done venting now :p

Majority of people assume refurb means problems. That just means those of us who know the truth get great deals

Refurb means the lens or body you just bought actually received some hands on quality control and adjustment instead of buying new with the odd chance your purchase was part of the random Quality Control sampling.

It is ridiculous how people avoid refurbs or low ball you to eternity the moment you type the word refurbished lol

Pfft, refurbs are terrible and I can't understand why anyone would want to buy those POS items.

Ssh don't tell any more people about the great refurb deals, they already disappear fast enough without everyone else knowing.

years ago I snagged a refurbished 5D Mark II from the CLP for $1500 back when the new bodies were going for $2400+....I ran the shutter count program on my body and it came back with 12. I never had any problems with it, and sold it a few months back when I switched to Fuji.

So while people were spending nearly an extra grand for a "new" body, I was using that extra cash towards an L lens.

I was so handsome in my younger days. And I swoon when I look at Nicky's former 200L which produced magic in my hands.

I bought refurbished 7d, 6d, 100L, 17-40L, and 70-300L. All were in perfect condition, both bodies were under 1000 clicks. Sold all of them for at least what I paid, some tuned a profit when I switched brands :)

I have no problems with refunds except they are never in stock for what I want.
