You would refuse to have your work computer connect to the internet for I assume "reasons", and then suggest that illegally downloading a potentially maleware infested time bomb off the internet is also somehow a good or logical idea?
Dude, I never said I downloaded illegal software, I just made that statement because within 3 days of CC being released it was cracked. If you read my statements I said I do not condone doing that, but for those who have no conscience they can do it cause the option is there. I said I stick with CS5.
I am not the only photographer around who does not connect their work computers to the internet. I personally know of 4 studios around me who do the same thing. Computers can be hacked into, etc. It is much better for us if we don't do the internet thing. No reason to even download updates if we are not on the net that need the security patches, etc. Without all that junk on your computer that connects to internet and stuff, we just have the operating systems with service packs installed and then we install our software and we are done - ready to work.
