Have been printing happily with both, CS5 decides printing.

Tried to print yesterday, colour balance way off - Re calibrated Dell, (Spyder4pro) ,re installed Epson R3000 - photos still have magenta cast....Usually when I proof the photos, there is a discernible difference between proofed copy and the other. No change..

Sunset correct yellow on screen, too pink on print.

I have a photo balanced light to check prints.

Any ideas?

Did you do a nozzle check test print (requires plain paper, not photo paper)? It sounds like one or more of the nozzles is plugged and you need to run the print head cleaning cycle.

I had exactly the same problem a month ago (magenta cast) and the nozzle check clearly showed that a cleaning was required. Worked perfectly again right after doing it :)

See page 35 and 36 of the "Basics" manual that came with the printer or in the pdf version found here: http://www.epson.ca …d=173163&prodoid=62334010 (external link) .

Already done that....I was doing fine until did an update of spyder pro 4 - now printing is rubbish and spyder pro keeps telling me I need to calibrate - just after I have done so...

Maybe uninstall the Spyder4Pro software and reinstall an older version that you know worked?
