Funny, my wife told me to go get this car, I kept hee hawing around spending the money, and she got mad at me. I wanted a vette again, had a Z06 in the past, but yup, kids and groceries meant a 4 seater.

QUOTED IMAGE

I have a civic as my everyday car though, about as low end as you can get. :)

Very nice ride. When my Camry finally died during an abrupt stop at a telephone pole, my wife decided that I needed a Toyota Rav4. She likes them. I don't care. Whatever. It will most likely be my last car. Although she keeps talking about a new 'stang. If she buys it, she'll be the only one it. I can't get in/out of anything that low anymore. Part of her plan, I'd say.

I have a warped imagination.

Nothing wrong with that. As long as it stays in your head.

My wife has no patience and tends to get mad at inanimate objects when they can't read her mind. When she starts a conversation with, "Don't get mad..." I know it's going to be expensive. On the other hand she's the primary earner in our family so it's all good!

Good luck, you would lose, simply due to legality. BTW, you aren't married are you? The guy is lucky all she did was break his camera equipment, I would be worried about the other equipment.

ROTFLMAO! Am enjoying this thread . Seriously, though, this couple needs a marriage counselor or a divorce lawyer.

Looking at that ad reminds me that the secret of a happy marriage is two-way communications. She tells me what's on her mind and I say "yes dear, right away dear." :)

Are all of you guys 19 years old? After 30+ years of marriage, I'll tell you the one and only way to handle this.

First step. Quietly pick everything up. Put it all in a box. Take it to the trash can. Gently set it out with the rest of the trash.

Next, wait until you wife leaves the house. Gather EVERYTHING she owns, shoes, jewelery, clothes, hobby equipment... ALL OF IT. EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE THAT IS HERS. Rent the moving van you'll need to carry all this junk. Drive to the local landfill. Make a deposit.

She will ask no questions. She will rant, long, loud and hard. Don't engage. Get a beer. Watch Gilligan's Island re-runs. Leave if you have to. Just don't engage.

When she calms down she will either:
A.) File for divorce and move out. OK, problem solved.
B.) Ask you what the *@K@@* we are going to do now. If she takes this road you've got her. You say:

"My dear, I have an idea. You go shopping and replace EVERY ITEM I disposed of, with whatever you want. I go shopping and replace everything you broke with whatever I want." STOP TALKING

She will take you up on it, knowing she can outspend you 10:1. Go to your nearest Canon store and buy whatever you want. She won't care.

Don't laugh. This may sound expensive. If she takes option (A), you'll be out a lot more.

Oh, and there is an option (C). She may kill you. Still, problem solved.

Hehe. I laughed when I read this.

Easy fix. Package everything back up in the original boxes. Lay it in your back seat of your car and drive to nearest Walmart in a big city. Come out an hour later and it should be stolen by then. One call to the insurance company and pay the deductible and you my friend have new gear. (This post is for entertainment purposes only) :)

I don't care what he did, there is no excuse to ever damage someone's property. If you are that angry then file for divorce, see a councelor, etc. heck, go buy some jewelry.

Also, we don't know when they got married. He could have easily had that camera before they got married in which case she may not have any legal right to even touch it.

Too bad it was not caught on video. It would have gone viral and he would easily be able to replace everything with the money he made from you tube.

Only options now is start a gofund me campaign... For a DIVORCE attorney *L*

Obviously, that's not a CL ad, it's a cry for help.

See, this is proof filters don't protect lenses.
