There is some sort off care in this nature park. Where these horse can walk freely.

Opened up the shadows and did at some contrast in Lightroom.
Composition wise, i would have moved laterally a bit to take the, "why is the tree growing out of the horses butt" question out of the equation. But otherwise, Im curious as to why its a bit soft at 1/125 at that low focal length. Curious what your focus point was and if you were on solid ground or not.
Edit: I see your at f16. In my experience that is a bit much for APS-C without a tripod, even with minimal movement.
