This incredibly rare lens is in virtually immaculate condition with barely a discernable mark anywhere on the barrel. Optically stunning, it has no marks or scratches on any of its 13 elements. The lens mount is clean and free of any scratches, as is the drop in Gelatin II filter. The built-in lens hood extends and locks securely.
The focus ring moves with a smooth and fluid motion, as does the rotatable lens mount. All buttons move and lock perfectly. A suitable tripod and head are available upon request.

This is a beautiful example of this incredible and rare lens, and we welcome enquiries from all around the world.

Free worldwide delivery.

Includes:
Official Purpose Built Hard Flight Case With Keys
Official Leather Lens Cap
Rear Lens Cap
Canon Gelatin II Drop-in Filter

I'd snap this one up if it were black.

But hey, the side tab says you can "offset the cost of new equipment by trading in some old..." hahahahaha

Ah, this one doesn't have IS. I hope the v.2 does, because I just don't think I could get sharp handheld pics without it...

IS is a crutch for people who don't know proper shooting technique. I get razor sharp pics handheldat shutter speeds as low as 1/5 with my copy.

If you look really close at the pics, you can make out a hairline scratch on the 7th element...

What's the DATECODE?

most all were originally built in the 80s and later converted to EF mount. most any after were early 90s. Your pretty much golden to say it's a 20 year old lens.

EDIT: It's a UL = 1997.

Haven't seen that listed on anyone's Gear Listing -

At 99,000 GB Pounds, that equates to $165,607. Glad to hear shipping is free!
