Pretty much look like vacation snapshots.

Nice photos of a fascinating environment. Hopefully I can pay a visit there some day.

Actually, you're incorrect. No reason to compliment a photograph if it doesn't deserve it. But there is every reason to kindly offer encouragement and ideas for improving the image. There's no reason for anyone to only offer caustic nonsense (see the recent Rate The Photo Above You debacle).

But Poltergeist2, looks like a nice spot. What are the chances to see the same area much earlier or much later in the day? The light might work to your advantage. It would be fun to spend several hours there.

Totally agree! These were obviously taken on a cloudless afternoon when the sun is generally not your friend. Try much earlier or later in the day. Also, a couple of your images have distracting and of out of focus foreground branches. If you can, try to manipulate around them. Keep shooting and enjoy.

It was my first visit there and I may try and hit the place again but I don't know when. I didn't get there until about 10am and I decided to leave around 2pm. It was more of a see what I can see and do some hiking then a planned time to take pictures.
