Don't worry about the thread title...photos from any a7 series camera + any lens is welcome here. absolutic wrote in post #17104607 if would be beneficial if users indicate which exact Canon lens is used in their shots. Otherwise whats the point of this thread? The point of the thread is to share imagery captured with a7 series cameras from any lenses, including native FE-mount lenses. I agree that a "best-practice" is to list what lens was used and even which a7 series camera was used. David | Flickr

Sony = Hands down, the best landscapes + nice size. I think I'm at a good spot with one of each. I just can't see canon ever bringing out a decent mirrorless camera, with sensor tech on par with the A7R and even of they did I bet it would be a fortune. I'm hopeful that the sony works out for me as the fuji has been an expensive mistake. The resale values are shocking. Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I'm hopeful that the sony works out for me as the fuji has been an expensive mistake. The resale values are shocking. On the plus side though I'll be buying mainly canon mount lenses for the sony so if I ever do go back it won't be as big a hassle. I just can't face going back to a full size body again though I have a few dark complexion kids, and I'm pretty critical on skin tones. I'de rank skin tones Canon FF > Canon APS-C > Sony FF.... With the lighter skinned kids, I can work it fine with the sony, but the darker skinned kids, it's borderline disaster. I cant imagine ditching canon for that reason. It just happens that the 6D is pretty decent at landscapes, but sony is clearly better for a few reasons. Great thing about having a DSLR is that I can do landscapes one second, and jump right to incidental wildlife or even portraiture. AWB = Sony sony scores better in portraiture test scores, but proof is in the pudding. I care about results more than I do about scores. If I can get canon skin tones on a sony cam, I would make the sony my main point and shoot. it's small, discrete, and I'm perfectly fine with manual focus. I'm happy with nifty fifty and vivitar 135mm in size... their tiny and light. I just cant get the skin tones right unless I'm shooting low iso.
