does the X-Pro have a continuous focus feature like the X-T1? That's about the only way I can keep up with my active 3 year old, Unless I bribe him and he's sitting perfectly still.

Yes it has 3 focus modes. Manual, single shot and continuous focusing. I really liked the styling of the XP1, it's a shame, especially as they seem to devalue too :(

What lens are you using on the xpro1? I have to use primes (23 or 35) near wide open when shooting my kids indoors, the standard zooms arent fast enough.

I'm struggling with the AF of my X Pro1 at the moment. I bought it as a lightweight alternative to my 7D, but lots of my shots are coming out blurry. When it nails focus its awesome, but that's too far and few between for my liking. I don't want to invest in more lens as the second hand market is poor, and I think I'll lose even more money.
It's struggling to keep up with my 1 year old, it will only get worse as she gets older and faster. I agonised over the A7r and X Pro 1, I didn't feel anything for the X-Ti, it was never on my radar. I just ordered £200 of filters, I think I will cancel them.
How are other owners managing ? ? ?

I would recommend stopping the lens down a bit or shooting MF if using the original primes. Why did you not look at the X-T1 or X-E2 if AF performance is important to you?

Another from the Vivitar zoom

Did you do something in post to that one? It looks... fake somehow. Like the blur was PS'ed in rather than from a long exposure. Not bashing, just trying to put my finger on something that feels weird.

Well, it's possible to blur and sharpen in Lightroom, too.

So...didya?

Thanks pdrober2 and Gabriella. :)

As far as Oregun's photo, it looks like how a 17 second (saw it on flickr) exposure would make running water look. Maybe played with saturation levels on specific colors.

But I might be completely wrong lol.

My family and I are headed to Myrtle Beach the first of the month for a little vacation. :-)

It'll be my first time in Myrtle Beach. I think our hotel is a few miles away from Broadway on the Beach? Looked like an interesting area.
