Just looked it up, looks amazing. I don't get down to Oregon much, but I will make it a point to visit this falls sometime soon!

Thank you! I'm excited for the challenge. Gives me the opportunity to explore various regions around the Pacific Northwest.

an ambitious project, for sure, but you have some very nice shots here! are you familiar with Bryan Swan's Northwest Waterfall Survey? i've found it very useful for locating waterfalls to photograph.

I am not familiar with his survey. I'm currently following a few different books that I picked up. A coffee shop up in Darrington had a book that lists 70+ waterfalls along the Mountain Loop Highway between Darrington and Granite Falls. The other book I have has thousands of waterfalls in WA, OR, and ID.

the URL is http://www.waterfallsn​orthwest.com/nws/. it lists just about every waterfall higher than 10 feet in the NW, with photos and directions to most, and GPS coordinates for most of those he hasn't visited. a very valuable resource for waterfall hunters!

That's the only website that I use as a pair with the book I have.

Franklin Falls up near Snoqualmie Pass makes a nice little trip... it's easy to get to, and this time of year, the flow is down, so you can get down into the basin without getting soaked by the spray.

If you have easy directions, they would be appreciated as the ones on waterfallsnorthwest seems a bit confusing as to which approach is best. It says "you can hike to the falls from any of the three starting points" but fails to mention which is quickest and where to go for each in an easy-to-follow manor. *facepalm*

It makes it seem like you have to hike when I want to say that it sounds like it could be a vehicle approach.

EDIT: Nevermind, the WTA site seems to have better and more straight forward directions to the trailhead:
