a change from wildlife for me tonight ,a steam train special on the north wales mainline ,a A4 pacific number 60009 "union of south africa" these were the fastest steam trains ever built and another one of the class "mallard" holds the world steam record .bit of nostalgia for me to as a lad i travelled on the footplate of this one in my train spotting days .

Yep, I got mine a few years ago before the prices started going up, up, and away. I still paid a pretty penny for it though.

Nothing spectacular today just some shots of the roofers stripping off hail damaged shingles from the townhouse. Fortunately they were able to reshingle what they stripped off before the rains came. With an S-M-C Takumar 28mm f/3.5.
