That's a good one Dean! I'm thinking of B&W conversion would be pretty dramatic.

was thinking the same with the B&W treatment, either way, it's a nice shot.

Thanks guys. I'll give the B&W a try. My only complaint on this shot is the lack of definition in the sky. Try as I might, I could not get much detail in it without losing the pier details themselves.
I have about 5 shots of the same spot, with varying exposure settings. Will play with some more tonight.

I hope you all have been well. Fantastic imagery as always.

Trying some different stuff than what I normally shoot.

Didn't plan on this but it looks better as an animated gif than a still, should have taken more frames though:

Did a bit of editing with split-tones on the Pier shot. Wondering which one you guys like better.

Some super shots posted since I posted here last.

Log House

a7r + FE 24-70mm F4 ZA OSS

I tried using three auto bracketed exposures at 2Ev spacing for this shot taken at the worst time of day. I'm editing 'on the road' so I can't see this as I normally would at home. Hopefully, it's OK.

That looks great Gene! Looks like the bracketing really worked.

Thanks Dean. Although, here's a shot of a brick house on the same property I did as a single exposure.

This shot was a single exposure for comparison.

A couple from this morning.

On the drive to Utah with my granddaughter, we stopped at Peggy Sues just outside Victorville for breakfast this morning. The first shot looks like a bar! :D
