Lmao hold a grudge much?? Its okay I could careless about your rating. lol Great job aiming your dslr at an athlete that is pouring water on his face. Boring imagery to bring to the table. Congrats you know how to take a sharp image that is properly exposed:rolleyes: I congratulate you on posting an image that is somewhat better then your last posts in this thread. lol

Nice bokeh and capturing a genuine moment that tells a story but thats about it. 6/10

PS: Your signature says a lot about your attitude.

It sucks.

Not at all, but by reading what you wrote and the way you wrote it ("lmao", "it’s sucks"), it’s look like you are !

Your pic … it’s not interesting at all, a little girl about to blow her nose … seriously ? next time you take the picture inside the handkerchief ?
only one eye in focus … next time try (if you can) to put both eyes in focus specially when the title of this pic is “Those eyes;) and so on ...

Sorry i can’t give a good rate 3/10

About my signature, it’s a smile ;), but you cannot understand this one, it’s too far beyond your understanding as i can see the way you're speaking (you might looking too much at your navel).

“Congrats you know how to take a sharp image that is properly exposed … etc … etc ... ”

Your condescension show just how blind you are (which is bad if you want to start to learn photography) that you didn’t see the joke.

Still joke inside ;)

And back on track... Honestly I think the Photo of the child on the ipad is great, good capture. Truly an instant in time held still.

But the above photo is also well done. Great sharpness and bokeh captures the moment in a way that puts you on the sideline. I have a thing against armpit hair though so i will deduct a point minus the standard never perfect point 8/10

I think the problem with some people rating in this thread is that they are too cruel in their rating.
What's the point in photography at all if it is gonna make us feel bad?

That's why I almost never give a score of lower then 6/10 so that people whose pictures might actually suck don't feel too bad and discouraged. But I do say what I think is wrong with the picture.
My rating even for a relatively bad picture would be a 7/10.

If its a good picture, then it gets 9 or 10/10.

One can make their point that something is wrong with this picture without giving it a 3/10 rating to make the other person feel miserable.

Good point Van Gogh. 6/10 could be just as effective of a rating as a 2/10 with the proper constructive criticism.

You definitely have to have thick skin in this thread but if your going to put your work out there for rating on a public forum then you have to be ready to hear the bad. If this is truly going to be a helpful tool then there can be no Hurtful retaliation if you do not get a rating you like. It should all be unbiased criticism.

On another note I want to start a say something positive about this photo thread.

Now whats wrong with my photo haha I know for sure that damn leg is an eye sore.

Since you have been waiting so patiently. You already said that the leg is distracting and I would add the oil pan to that one. I think the cropping is a little too tight and too close to the front tire but then again, I don't know if there were other elements in the frame that caused you to crop so tight. My other suggestion would be the angle of the shot. Getting a bit lower and moving a bit to the right would have given a better perspective that doesn't cause that right handlebar grip to disappear. Regardless, I'll still give it a 6/10 because I like the subject matter, color and focus is good for me.

I am not a landscape person but from what I can see a nice picture.
Love the desert color, pretty cool !
I think a little less exposed and darker and hence more saturated sky would make this picture better.

7.8/8

I like the lighting effect but something about the cigar is off to me, especially where its touching the lips? It looks too smooth or something. 7/10

Nice Scene, I like the greens and the story it's telling of a girl and her dog going for a walk, and I like that we can see where they are going and it looks beautiful and peaceful.
It's a shame there was another walker in the pic. I'd also love to see some more PP on this one, brighten it up a little and add a bit more contrast or texture, it's a little tiny bit flat 7/10 :)
