I live close to Wigan, so speak the language. A quick translation:

"I just thought I would let Photographers who use the Nikon D810 know this, I just received it in an email".

I think it's the pies that make them talk like that.

I'd always assumed it was the tooth decay.

I have never associated tooth decay with Wigan though. Pies they are famous for and Wiganers are known locally as "Pie-eaters". I have to admit, there are some very nice pie shops in the town and I have been known to indulge myself from time to time.

Local jokes:

A Wigan kebab - 5 meat pies on a skewer
A Wigan wedding cake - 4 meat pies, one on top of another.

I should point out that no offence is meant to the OP, or any other Wiganers, this is just light hearted fun. I have friends in Wigan and I do like the town and the people.

Someone should tell them not to type when their mouths are full.

I don't own any Nikon gear at all, but I have to say that Wigan sounds like an awesome place to visit now.

Thank God I live on the other side of the Pennines.

Football is a very simple game. Twenty-two players chase a ball and Germany always win.
