Eye-Fi card questions

I just bought a DSLR package, and included with it was an Eye-Fi card (Connect X2 4GB + Wi-fi). It came with a clear case, eye-fi USB card reader, and the card.

I downloaded the Eye-Fi app for my Android Samsung Galaxy s5, but the app asks to enter a ten-digit code. It says it is either on the jewel case (I guess that is the clear case?) or on the starter card (not sure what a starter card is). At any rate, I'm not seeing it, and therefore am afraid the wi-fi capabilities of this card will do me no good.

Any way around all this?

Thanks!

Where did you get your package? Brand new or used?

I have heard of eye-fi many times but never bothered to see what it was. I think it is pretty neat, actually. I don't see the use in a 6D, but it could be useful in my 5DII.

Have you contacted the seller?

Try loading the laptop app for eye-fi and connect the card, the app might be able to give you the info you need for the mobile app. You will undoubtedly need that app anyways to configure the card the way you want it.
