Hello,

I am new to photography and was given a 7D camera with a Tamron 18-270 lens when our child was born by my father. I was wondering if there is an online class you can recommend where I can do "assignments" or something to where you have to take pictures and receive some sort of critique back from someone.

Thank you.

Hello,

The quoted sentence is funny. I first read it as "... our child was born by my father."

Would this be closer to your intentions: I am new to photography and was given a 7D camera with a Tamron 18-270 lens by my father when our child was born.

I just assumed that the father had delivered the baby. ;)

Have a look at the tutorials in my signature. They'll give you a good foundation in the basics of photography.

Thank you for the correction. I should have proof read first.
