The 9 to 10 stop ND filters have a photo thread dedicated to them. I figured it was time for the 6 stop filters to get their turn!
With the emergence of the Lee Little Stopper, and with other 6 stop filters out there as well (I think there are others!), I wanted to have a place where we could share our work and show what we can capture.

Hopefully this takes off!

I'll start off with mine.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III
canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS
Lee Little Stopper

These photos are taken from the roof of my grand mothers house in Lebanon where we have a perfect view of Beirut and the Mediterranean Sea.

Enjoy!

-Jalal

Nice shots. Subscribed to this thread because I want to pick up the Little Stopper soon! I have the Big Stopper but sometimes it's too much at sunset.

Question....what does everyone do to remember which filter was used for each shot? I'm new to filters and have noticed I am terrible about remembering which filter I had on for a shot?

I'd suggest taking notes in your phone. Note the image #, filter used and exposure length.

I asked myself the same question awhile back. I found it hard to remember what filter I used at the specific time when looking back at older photos. If you upload everything to flickr, note the filter used in the description of the photo. (Ex: "Here is a shot I got last night from my visit to the beach. I used a 3 stop GND to help with the bright sky.")

Then you can look back through your flickr later and see what was used. This can also be used for additional info aside from filters. (Ex: I used a monopod, tripod, polarizer, shutter release cable, etc.)
