I can't decide if I want to build up on Fe mount lenses or not. I feel that Canon ef lenses will stand the test of time but unsure if Fe will. I'm not sure if that's just because I was recently stung with fuji though. I'm sort of thinking there will always be Canon bodies to choose from but will Sony be in it for the long haul?

Perhaps they will keep leading the way I don't know but its just a slight niggle in the back of my mind

That's been my concern all along and why I have so far not purchased an FE lens.

I have the same concern as you guys... Most of my photography doesn't need AF anyway so I think I will stick with Canon glass, and the times I need AF I will always keep a Canon body.

A7R+70-200F4 combos AF is not bad for actions.

Good news (Well for me anyway)if anyone is interested

Hahnel have added the A7 range to the superb Gig T Pro wireless Intervalometer shutter release compatibility list , been waiting for this and even harassing them to do it..

Used these with my 5D Mark III and they are superb... not cheap but work very well .

This is good news, works flawlessly with the 5D3 and have been waiting for it to be released for the A7R.

A couple more boring construction photos. These are SOOC, no sharpening, etc except for cropping on the 2nd image.
