Nice to see someone is getting spring weather. We're still buried under 2 feet of snow.

It has been a very warm winder here, only had the first frost on the windscreen last week, and I leave at 6:30am.

Plenty of gales, rain, floods and trees down though....

Lucky you. We've had the coldest winter on record in over 20 years (or something like that). I'll hopefully be joining you outside in a month or so. :(

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

I know it's sad...but I felt like shooting it. Might as well add it here. :(

Thanks, Craig. I like that flower shot as well. Another example of how 180mm can really smooth out the bokeh.

Garter Snake.

Nice one. The cloudiness in the eye suggests it will shed its skin soon.

Here is a shot of a Southern Pacific Rattlesnake I took a couple weeks ago:

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the eyes. [PS: I played with the eye a bit to add more contrast. I was not sure about the cloudy nature.] Your snake is more bad ass than mine. :D We have no rattlers around here. :( I had a chance to grab a smaller one earlier today. It seemed rather relaxed. Didn't struggle. Such delicate creatures though.
