I visited CanyonLands last may. I thought I took some good pictures but this one is really remarkable.

Beautiful picture. Great composition and color contrast. The clouds really make the picture great. Sometimes conditions are perfect for a good picture and do not need sunset or sunrise times. You nailed it.

Helen, you are really a lucky photographer. Everywhere you stop to take a picture just seems to have great lighting, clouds, and composition. Really lucky.

I enjoy seeing different angles at familiar sites. Very nice composition and execution! And what a great time to be there...those clouds are really nice!
