Does anyone use the older Tamron 90mm macro lens? The one without VC. How is it and is it an annoyance that the lens extends when focusing? The price is definitely right. Thank you.

The glass was fine, it just had some worn paint numbers on the barrel. Even their EX+ ones are only about $100. Of course you need the adaptall 2 also, but I got that for $20 off fleabay. Add lens cap and hood and it was still < $ 100.

For further confusion I believe there was also a 90mm F/2.5 lens that existed. Yes, that sounds to be 4 distinctly generations of lenses. Dave
