Post processing many images from a three day trip to southern CA...spent the hole day betting at the races in Del Mar. Our first bet was leading until a few milliseconds , the inner horse, then #5 came form the outside, photo finished, shot with 7D and 100-400 mm

Hi everyone. Just want to post a few from my newly acquired Tamron. I decided to post it here rather than the official !5-600 thread because in my opinion. The general consensus out there is to nitpick the attributes of this lens. For me the price and what it produces is enough to satisfy my needs. This lens gets me in the 600mm club without selling any of my organs. :D

Sorry for the FB quality.
Merlin

Thanks Peter. I bought it awhile back but haven't really used it. But overall this lens is really a poorman's 600mm. I'm glad to have bought it.

Kinda funny 3 weeks after I got it, I received a call from the same store saying my lens had arrived and come auspicious it up. I guess there was a mix up in their waiting list.I could have 2 of them and sold the extra one on Kijiji for a profit.:D

From the position of those flies, that don't look like reproduction to me - more like recreation.
