Stobist. I boomed a White Lightning X3200 into a 48" octobox, camera left via a c-stand. Powered with a vagabond mini lithium and triggered using the PW TT1 mini + AC3 zone-controller, TT5 Flex + AC9. I think this was around half power roughly 6 feet from my subject.
To be honest, 2 of my 3 lights weren't firing and while I was trying to troubleshoot the issue, the cruise ship left the port so I just told him to hop on the bike and started shooting. Not sure if it was because of a PW mis-configuration or if I had too much of a load on my poor VML (X3200 + two AB1600's). Regardless, I feel like the positioning of the octobox could have been better but I was rushed and just happy it turned out half decent. The owner of the bike was more concerned about the sweater being well lit so I can't really complain with how it turned out considering the circumstances. Had I had more time, I think I would have tried to boom it centered pointing down on a 45. Just gotta get out there and keep shooting. Next time
