
update your firmware, it might work and it might not. But I had an issue under windows 8 but as soon as I did the firmware update had no issues. Until one it wouldn't read any cards in it. So I got another one.

Bought it several years back and used it with no issues on PC or MacBook. Have a newer MacBook now and it wouldn't connect at all with a CF card in Mavericks. Quick firmware update off of the Sandisk site (SIIG didn't have one, and they're the same chipset anyway) solved the problem. Transfers files really quickly, and accepts just about every format of card out there.
