Btw, any one have advice on licensing photos?

I was contacted by a travel magazine wanting to license some of my food photos for use.

It's the Zeiss 55mm at f1.8 on both.

well I signed up for dropbox but the only pictures that show as available to put on there are the ones I have already converted to jpeg. anyone know a free way to share raw photo's?

in yahoo mail when you attached any file more than 25mb, it will now automatically goes to dropbox even if the recipient doesn't have dropbox account.

I usually just ask what their usual rate is. They are most often honest and give you next to nothing for your photos. Can't expect them to pay $300 for every photo in the magazine right? Don't give them away for free though, but your not going to get rich. Kind of cool seeing your photos in a magazine. Assuming 1 time use for a magazine.

Here's my attempt... all done in LR 5.5, two grad filters. Too much?

I am going to give it a few trys with the grad filters (as soon as I can figure out how to use them right), the huge burn area under the mountains in the background kinda throws me off when I try to edit this picture because it ends up too blue, but with a grad filter I can still keep the vibrance up on the sky/clouds but not turn that back wall of mountains blue (well any bluer than they were in real life that is they were pretty blue)

Thanks. Been reading up on it and talked directly with the editor. One time use, no exclusive rights - pretty typical for a magazine it would seem.

was in a park this morning and came across deer... working on a processed look that is a "Artzy-Quasi-Painted" look... Am I getting close?
