Nathan, I'm so sad for you and your wife. I would be crushed. The highlight of my day is coming home to two yorkies that are beside themselves with excitement. So tragic.

I hope your wife feels better soon. Prior to losing our first yorkie - lived a good 17.5 years - my wife and I agreed we would go petless. But, the loss proved too much for us, so now we have two yorkies! :)

My wife was doing a bit better this weekend. She's now looking for something to keep his old possessions in. For now, she wants to keep his ashes. I just hate seeing her believe it was somehow her fault and that she should have taken better care of him. It has helped to go through some of our old photos. I wish I took more photos of him.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

Nathan, you can find some amazing pet urns on the internet. I won't post any links here because I would not want to limit your choices in any way. Shopping for a memorial urn helps us deal with our losses. She's on our mind, but we're doing something constructive and long lasting. My best wishes to you and yours.
