Would like to hear comparisons between these two lens.
Haven't had the chance to use it much yet but I'd say the Sigma wins overall.
The tamron was a bit sharper wide open and in the edges of the frame, the focus was always spot on straight out of the box. If you shop around you can probably get it quite a bit cheaper than the Sigma which is important.
The Sigma is a Step up otherwise. The sharpness is consistent throughout the zoom range from what I can tell, the bokeh and colours are a lot better than the tamron. I bought this lens for the silent focusing (The Tamron makes a buzz which is quite audible) and OS which are both good from the testing i have done.
Im happy I purchased the Sigma so far.
