I really like the dynamic range shown in these shots.

+1 That catches my breath Omar....awesome!

I'll chime in and say that's the best view of Freedom Tower I've seen in awhile. Great job

Thanks all! It took a couple of shots to get a good one. Not due to bad technique but rather people and traffic. Had to wait for the walk sign to come up so i could stand right in the middle of the street. Line up the shot and take one. The stop light would allow enough time for just one shot at a time. So needless to say i had a few people looking at me and figure this is new york what else is new

Eddie, fantastic portrait of your toddler. Wonderful warm light.

Omar, excellent shot of the Freedom tower. The street creates natural leading lines.

Eugene, nice silky water in that landscape.

^ good one!
Is that a ghost above far tower or is it light from the said tower projected on some low cloud? It looks like the latter - shaft of light must be projected on car fumes wafting above as well as onto low clouds. GWB lighting is seriously bright.

Thanks Eugene! It's reflection light from the tower itself since it had rained all day there were stil clouds out there. The glow of the lights from the bridge is insane and can been seen from miles away. Since it was Labor Day they had the towers lit up. Usually the tower lights are off and you can only see the arches of the suspension ropes.

you meant to replace your 350D? if so, oh yes... I switched from a 5D Mark III. I'm not saying it's better than a 5D3 but I have no regrets.

^ I did the same thing. From 5dmkIII -> A7r. Just know what you are buying and the complaints should be minimal :)

Experimenting with the Sony a7R + Canon 24-70mm Mark II.

The 24-70mm II is my favourite lens, it's high contrast and super sharp. So I am quite interested to see how it does on the a7R as it out resolves my 5D Mark III.
