I think you've got it reverse. This is the original version, and it takes 58mm filters. The dark knight takes 67mm, and supposedly new coatings.

ah ok, that's what I figured too
the people in FM and those reporting the DK version got it confused too then since most are saying 67 to 58

My only complaint with my Samyang 85 is the long MFD. Otherwise, it's a joy to use and super sharp

A7r, Metabones G to NEX adaptor, Samyang 85/1.4 (not sure of aperture)

Can't wait to get out and do some shooting. My Rokinon 85 1.4 and Voigtlander 35 1.4 got delivered to my office today. Quick test shot out of the box at my desk with the Voigtlander of the Rokinon.

I just looked at those voigtlander lenses, and they look real nice. Love the size of it.

the 40mm on my radar.

yeah they are nice and compact but have a great build to them. I strongly considered the 40mm but having the Zeiss 55 I wanted something wider so I went with the 35.

nice shot and congrats on the 2 new lenses.
I miss my CV 35 1.4 and hoping to get another one down the road. I sold mine in favor of a sharper and contrastier color-skopar but miss the wide-open look that the nokton can produce.

Shot with my new 85 tonight. Gonna take some practice nailing manual focus but I am quite pleased with my first outing with the new equipment.

^great shots.

I should be receiving my A7 tomorrow and will be picking up the Sony 35mm f/2.8. I considered getting the Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 and even the 40mm but lets see how things work out with this 35. Although I know i'll need at least a 24mm so not sure if I should get the metabones adaptor for my Canon 24L II or one for my Canon FD 24mm f/2.8 lens.
Which adaptor are you guys using with Canon FD lenses?

buddy gave me his FD-NEX adaptor for free but he bought it on ebay for around $20, he decided to use novoflex for his FD lenses.

one thing to make sure if you plan on shooting at slower shutter speed is to check for light leak but other than that I'm happy with mine.
