Stunning plane shots young man, thinking of trying Duxford in a couple of weeks - seems a lot of money to get in though (or is that just me)

To keep the photo variation going:
Very long weekend at Donington, wall to wall racing and an over active shutter finger - wonder if they do a tablet for that lol

Usual kit set up - handheld, 1Dmk4, 70-200 2.8 mk2 with the 1.4 mk3 extender

#1 1/320, f/8, iso 100, 280mm rolling start and the Falcon was out of there, impressive!

IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSportsCarClubCSCC/CSCC-2014/CSCC-Donington-Park-31-Aug-14/i-j98vD3K/0/L/DP%2031-08-14%20%201141-L.jpg

#2 1/500, f/5, iso 100, 222mm okay - the lights go out and. . . . . . . CHARGE!!!
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSportsCarClubCSCC/CSCC-2014/CSCC-Donington-Park-30-Aug-14/i-7LPBf8g/0/L/DP%2030-08-14%20%200555-L.jpg

#3 1/250, f/5.6, iso 100, 165mm Mr B leading the charge down Craner Curves, doesn't look very steep but you try walking up and down it a dozen times
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSportsCarClubCSCC/CSCC-2014/CSCC-Donington-Park-30-Aug-14/i-zXnCBnw/0/L/DP%2030-08-14%20%200102-L.jpg

#4 1/160, f/7.1, iso 100, 245mm the obligatory Baby Bertha shot
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSportsCarClubCSCC/CSCC-2014/CSCC-Donington-Park-30-Aug-14/i-B6hrVmT/0/L/DP%2030-08-14%20%200248-L.jpg

#5 1/320, f/6.3, iso 100, 155mm It can all get a bit too much sometimes
IMAGE: http://www.davidstallardphotography.com/ClassicSportsCarClubCSCC/CSCC-2014/CSCC-Donington-Park-31-Aug-14/i-QNZmvPR/0/L/DP%2031-08-14%20%201185-L.jpg

#6 1/500, f/7.1, iso 100, 280mm No better way of looking after dads car (wasn't feeling very well so hope your feeling better)

Thanks David. I'll be at Duxford too, it is a bit expensive, but Duxford normally is. I won't be going into the show though, i'll be looking for a field near by so I'm not shooting into the sun.

Have just acquired a Canon 7D with 4k clicks on it too in 'Mint-' condition, get it tomorrow from MPB... better get used to it before Duxford! :D

New car for me today... :) Sorry for the iPad pic. Also, the 7D arrived, god knows why I never bought one before!

Hello Photogs.

I have a commercial job needing doing (corporate portraits) in the southe east (Brands Hatch and Gatwick) Anglia (Huntingdon ish area) and South West (Chepstow area) thsi is all happening in October and the job it to photograph our sales and support staff in thsoe regions.
Standard stuff, head and shoulders against a black background. Proabably around 40-50 Persons per location and around 2-3 Hours to get it done at each location.
Looking to pay a flat fee per head and have the RAW files supplied on DVD or digital device so we can process them for internal use on our corporate systems.
I don't have the time to do this, just way too busy right now but i have already done our head office staff (example of what we are after attached) This is a geniune opportunity for anybody good at portraits and willing to travel to the locations, please PM me if interested? and we can discuss terms, timings and locations etc....

Thsi is the sort of thing we are after:

Hi folks - not been on here for a while so thought I would drop by to share a couple of shots taken on a recent trip to the Argyll region.

Nice set JD, #3 is my favorite though I can't help thinking of the end results from #1 :)

Though these are not from a Canon or digital I thought I'd share them here shot on my Rolleicord on Kodak TX 400 they have a quality you can't replicate digitally in my opinion.

Loving the 'abandoned boat' one but shouldn't it be 2 abandoned boats? the happy calves is very cool, can see that on a card.

really cool thing just happened - we have a small back garden, over the last year or so we have been trying to encourage wildlife - birds / butterflies etc which this year we seem to be getting. Nothing too fancy, colored doves, wood pigeon, starlings and sparrows at the moment but it's a good start THEN TONIGHT, wondered why the cats were trying to scratch their way out of the conservatory. . . small gap between the shed and conservatory with an old outdoor cat bed / house at the end, a hedgehog how cool is that! quick read up, no milk just some fresh water and a few cat biscuits, after a while it popped out and had a drink before going back into the house, looks okay so will leave it be.

Just really chuffed.

.DAVID.

David, reminds me, years ago we had a small peach tree that one year had a bonanza. Peaches ended up fermenting on the ground - in the morning several hedgehogs out on the open lawn "staggering" around with sore heads!
