Just got this lens back and I couldn't be more happy. Nothing special, just a test shot from my road:

SeattleSpeedster, got to spend one beautiful day at Ranier this summer. I was thinking it would be great to live in the area to really experience the place. Those are spectacular shots Mike.

Very nice first outing, Dan - especially that last one. Miranda1, fine image as usual - a scene a lesser photographer could turn very boring very easily...nice job.

Here's my contribution for the week:

I've never captured anything like that when shooting the stars, congrats :(

Another great shot, Dan. As for the star thing, it was actually about the easiest shot I've ever taken and still like.

I live in the country and noticed it was exceptionally clear, no moon and no wind. I've never shot astro before but the conditions were right and I was up late waiting for an install to complete at work and gave it a shot. f2.8, 20 secs, ISO 6400 at infinity focus was all it took.

I think I struggle finding somewhere dark enough.

I'm not a wedding photographer, but I shot a friends wedding and I really enjoyed using the zeiss for it.
