I know the threads for giving names is usually around the time the lens was released but do you name your 24 TSE?

Because everytime i look at it attached to my 6D makes me say "fat tool". Now i guess it is fat tool for me lol

Because the manufacturers' namings are unutterable. I pity the reviewers. ;)

I just call mine TS-E(spoken-tilt shift) 24.

I've noticed it grabs almost as much attention as my my 300, but only from other photographers and not just every Tom, Dick and Harry. Unfortunately many the questions aren't much better.

Thats what i called it too and almost no other lens in my arsenal has a nickname. But found it curious that everytime i looked at that lens a "damn thats a fat tool" run through my mind. Hence the post :-)

Also funny that the 70-300L is bigger but somehow it is not as fat as the 24Lii TSE
