I'm thinking of ditching my 40mm 2.8 pancake and picking up the 50 1.4 for a couple reasons.

First, I actually don't like the look of the pancake on my 6D. Trivial as it may be, it looks amateur on a full frame camera.

Secondly, 1.4 is a lot easier on light than 2.8.

You know what. I just talked myself into it. :)
