The most valuable lens of my trip to Paris.

If it's in focus, it's pornography, if it's out of focus, it's art.

How in the world do you capture something like this?

davidfarina wrote in post #17152461 (external link)
I was thinking the same!!

First
Don't leave home without your 70-300L

Second
It is easier than it looks!!

Manual focus. Try it it is easy with practice. Good light or flash. A day off.

Oh and a Canon 70-300L helps

Two from today

You manually focus those shots? How in the world do you do it? Live view? Focus peaking with Magic Lantern?

Thank you, Jon! Love your hot air balloon shots, air show and the Red Arrows - reminds me of Biggin Hill.

Just through the view finder but make sure your focus is spot on with the diopter.

That's incomprehensible to me. I don't know how you did it.

My job this week has me between Esher and Teddington so I manage to get to stop off for a coffee and a short walk between at Bushy Park and so far having some good breaks.
