Mocelet; Your B&W conversion is very effective. Really love that zoom tracing towards the sky with surreal view of trees. Very well done.

Thanks. The course leader encouraged us to try something that we hadn't done before, and the zoom-burst trees was my only successful "new thing" image. I was particularly happy that the light points in the trees are stronger at one end, and that the leaves in-between the light streaks are just the right level of green.

The B&W shot is my favourite of the day. The weather was very overcast, and the light was totally flat, so the colour version looks dreadfully dull. Going to B&W allowed me to white-out the sky and bring out the contrast in the stone walls and road which has made it a picture worth sharing.

......If the body is too small for your hand (That usually is) you may try to get the available body grip. I have it. Not a good accessory IMO and I don't recommend it.....

When I put a Richard Franiec grip on my S95 it changed it from a bar of soap to something I could confidently shoot one-handed, even from my motorcycle. I was surprised that such a little piece of metal could make such a big difference.

When I got the EOS-M the first thing I did was order a Franiec grip. The M grip isn't quite as elegant as the S95 grip, but it sure works.

Thanks for sharing! I considered one of these grips but opted for the Flipbac 4 for roughly $10 from B+H and it is awesome. Changes the hand-holdability of the M much like your Franiac.

Heya,

All of them. It's universal. Takes anything your other EOS systems take.

It's lovely that the `M shares all my lighting equipment with my normal EOS cameras. Even all my different triggers work fine.

Very best,

You could get a 90EX that can act as a master flash to the 430EXII in slave mode. The 90EX is super small and OK for fill flash on occasion and it has master mode which the 430EXII does not.

I have seen 90EX on eBay BNIB for $60 in the past - my EOS-M came with one bundled and it is fine for its size. When you need a kiss of fill light it does the trick. The 430 is way better but much larger too.

I love my M for travel.

I used both peakdesign capture pro and joby gorillapod.

Do you guys know of an option to have both capture and gorillapod plate to be attached to the camera at the same time? Something small preferably.

Thanks
