Beautydish on location : buy a bigger foldable one (without grid) ?

I have a 15 inch 40cm metal beautydish (silver) with honeycomb & diffusor and I plan shoots on location (with 580 EXII speedlite in it)

I saw on a recent workshop that there exist foldables beautydishes now, which are more portable and less heavy.
For the same price I can buy a bigger one (27 inch 70cm) with diffusor but I think a honeycomb doesn't exist for this.

-Will this bigger one be better or not in combination with my 580 EXII, or wouldn't the 580 EXII be powerfull enough in this bigger beautydish ?
-Do you find the portability an advantace (can be put in a bag) or not (in case of wind)

Nice, and would a silver one with 580 EXII be powerfull enough as I have no strobes ?
Is the grid interesting for outdoor shoots ?

works fine with the v860 and the 580exII speedlite, just have to be closer to the subject. This is the same working with any modifier.
