had some interest in on old mill in Arkansas, USA

traveling, so only brought the Canon XSi and 17-85mm IS lens

propped it on a post, used manual focus with Live View, an remote shutter

not the best time of day but had no control over that...

I personally think it turned out pretty darn well. No shame on what you use to take the photo. It is the image that speaks, not the equipment that captures it.

It's a 10 stop ND filter by lee filters. I was in Malawi crammed on the back of a pickup truck with about 40 other people (plus bags) and someone sat on the camera bag I was holding = broken filter.
